The Company operates in two business segments: insurance and corporate. The insurance segment engages in the provision of underwriting of general and life insurance, and the corporate segment engages in the business of securities trading and holding. The Company鈥檚 interests in real estate are focused on Shanghai and Suzhou. As of December 31, 2010, its main project was a residential and commercial complex in Jiading, in which the Company had a 27.5% interest. The ultimate holding company of Asia Financial Holdings Limited is Claremont Capital Holdings Ltd. Its subsidiaries include Asia Insurance Company, Limited, Asia Investment Services Limited, AFH Investments (BVI) Limited, Asia Insurance (Finance) Limited, Chamberlain Investment Limited and Top Hover Limited.
