The Group was incorporated and registered as an exempted company with limited liability in the Cayman Island under the Companies Law Chapter 22 (Law 3 of 1961, as consolidated and revised) of the Cayman Island on 9 October 2002. The shares of the Group are listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 25 June 2003. The Group was formerly known as Wah Yuen Holdings Limited, it has changed to China Botanic Development Holdings Limited in May 2008. And in October 2009, the name of the Group has changed to China Water Property Group Limited.
The Group engages in property business in China and committed to establish a real estate development and property investment group trough sustainable development, core competitive advantage, specialization and refinement development.

The Group’s projects are mainly located in second-to-third tier cities along the Yangtze River. Diversified Product mix ranges from retail properties, apartments, office buildings, hotels to villas, which will meet customers' needs for self-occupancy and investment and respond promptly to changes in market demand.

Group History
The Group was formerly known as Wah Yuen Holdings Limited, Which was established in 1958. Wah Yuen is a famous snack food brand in Hong Kong. With a history of 53 years, it has over 2000 sales channels to cover many cities in South China and Eastern China. The shares of Wah Yuen Holdings Limited were listed on the main board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited with the stock code as 2349 on the year of 2003.
In 2007, China Water Property Group Limited became a majority shareholder of Wah Yuen holdings as a strategic partner. In order to expand food related businesses, it has changed to China Botanic Development Holdings Limited in 2008. As the food business struggled under the pressure of financial crisis and fierce competition, the Group turned to property market leveraging resources of majority shareholder including prime land bank and government relations to create more value for shareholders.On October 2009, the name of the Group has changed to China Water Property Group Limited. Presently, the Group has many property projects and investment properties in cities of China.
