Artini China Company Limited (Artini) is an investment holding company. The principal activities of the Company are design, manufacturing, retailing and distribution and concurrent design manufacturing (CDM) of fashion accessories. The Company operates in two segments: CDM, and retailing and distribution. The CDM segment is engaged in manufacturing depending on the customer鈥檚 chosen level of participation in the design process, works with the customers in designing the products, and produces the same according to the customer鈥檚 desired final design. The retailing and distribution segment includes the manufacture and sale of own brand fashion accessories. The Company鈥檚 subsidiaries include Alfreda International Company Limited, Artini International Company Limited and Artini Sales Company Limited. As at March 31, 2010, the Company鈥檚 retail network comprised about 150 retail points across 40 cities in the People鈥檚 Republic of China, Hong Kong and Macau.
