Sam Woo Holdings Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is principally engaged in foundation works, trading of machinery and equipment for foundation works and vessel chartering. The Company operates in three segments: Foundation works, Trading of machinery and equipment, and Vessel chartering. The Company provides marine transportation services through Asian Atlas Limited (Asian Atlas), a semi-submersible heavy lift type transport vessel. Asian Atlas serves international customers from a range of industries, including oil exploration and infrastructure construction. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010 (fiscal 2010), marine transportation and construction businesses accounted for approximately 54% and 46% of the Company鈥檚 turnover respectively. Its subsidiaries include Sam Woo Bore Pile Foundation Limited, Sam Woo Construction & Engineering Limited, Sam Woo Engineering Equipment Limited and Asian Atlas Limited.
