Harbour Centre Development Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, operates three segments: Hotel, which represents the operations of the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel; Property investment, which primarily represents the property leasing of the Company鈥檚 investment properties in Hong Kong, and Property development, which comprises activities relating to the acquisition, design, development, marketing and sale of trading properties primarily in Mainland China. As of December 31, 2010, its projects under development included the Changzhou project, which comprises a total site area of 411,300 square meters; the Shanghai Xiyuan project, which comprises a site area of 59,300 square meters; the Chongqing project, which is a joint development with China Overseas Land & Investment with the Company owning 55%, and two projects in Suzhou developed through a joint venture owned 80:20 respectively by the Company and Genway Housing Development.
