Modern Media Holdings Limited is an investment holding company. The Company is principally engaged in the provision of magazines advertising services, printing and distribution of magazines, and provision of advertising-related services. The Company operates in six segments: Advertising (Shanghai/Beijing/Guangzhou/Shenzhen/Hong Kong) and Circulation. The Company鈥檚 advertising business is segregated into five reportable segments on a geographical basis. Advertising segments engage in the sale of advertising space in the Company鈥檚 magazines. Circulation segment engages in the publication of and the distribution of the Company鈥檚 magazines in the People鈥檚 Republic of China and Hong Kong. Other operations include its provision of management and consultancy services, and exhibition and events arrangement services to the Company鈥檚 customers. In December 2009, it acquired 49% interests in Hangzhou Shili Cultural Media Co., Ltd.
