Melco International Development Limited (Melco) is an investment holding company. The Company has two segments: Leisure and Entertainment, and Property and Other Investments. Leisure and Entertainment Segment mainly comprises provision of catering and related services. Property and Other Investments Segment mainly comprises property investments, advances to associates, available-for-sale investments and related segment bank balances, which receives interest income and property rental income. On July 16, 2010, the Company disposed of Elixir International Limited (ELI), which carried out its technology business. During 2010, its associate MelcoLot Limited (MelcoLot) acquired 35% interest in China Excellent Net Technology Investment Limited. Its subsidiaries include Melco Leisure and Entertainment Group Limited, Aberdeen Restaurant Enterprises Limited, Tai Pak Sea-Food Restaurant Limited, Jumbo Catering Management Limited, Melco Technology Group Limited and Melco Services Limited.
