SmarTone Telecommunications Holdings Limited is an investment holding company. The Company is engaged in providing total communications in Hong Kong, providing voice, multimedia and broadband services in the mobile and fixed markets through its global system for mobile communication/third generation/high speed packet access (GSM/3G/HSPA+) network. Through its subsidiaries, the Company is engaged in the provision of mobile services, and sales of mobile telephones and accessories in Hong Kong and Macau; the provision of third-generation (3G) mobile services in Hong Kong; the provision of wireless fixed-line services in Hong Kong, and provision of customer support services and telemarketing services in Mainland China. The Company's subsidiary in Hong Kong operates as SmarTone-Vodafone, a partner network of Vodafone Group Plc. Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited is its ultimate holding company.
