Dah Sing Financial Holdings Limited is an investment holding company. The Company has six segments: personal banking, commercial banking, treasury, overseas banking, insurance business and others. Personal banking includes the acceptance of deposits from individual customers and the extension of residential mortgage lending, personal loans, overdraft and credit card services, the provision of insurance sales and investment services. Commercial banking includes the acceptance of deposits from and the advance of loans and working capital finance, and the provision of trade financing. Treasury activities include the provision of foreign exchange services and centralized cash management, interest rate risk management, management of investment in securities and the overall funding. Overseas banking includes personal banking, commercial banking business activities provided by overseas subsidiaries. Insurance business includes its life assurance and general insurance businesses.
