Daiwa Associate Holdings Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing and distribution of electronic components, contract electronic manufacturing services and consumer electronics, and the distribution of personal computer products. It operates mainly in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Canada. The Company operates in four segments: Electronic Components Distribution, Contract Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS), Consumer Electronics and Electronic Components Manufacturing, and Personal Computer Distribution. The Electronic Components segment is a distributor of various brand names, including its own manufactured electronic components. EMS is engaged in the production of telecommunication modules in mobile phones base stations, active antennas, radar parts, electronic modules in automobiles, as well as printed circuit board (PCB) assembly for industrial purpose products.
