Kingmaker Footwear Holdings Limited is an investment holding company. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing, trading and retailing of footwear and menswear. The Company operates in two business segments: manufacturing and sale of footwear products, and retailing and wholesaling business. The Company focuses on retailing of ladies鈥?shoes and bags under the Mocca brand, as well as infant and baby shoes under Fiona鈥檚 Prince. As of March 31, 2011, the Company operated a total of 38 production lines in Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangxi in the People鈥檚 Republic of China, Vietnam and Cambodia. As of March 31, 2011, the Company subsidiaries included the Company鈥檚 subsidiaries included MJ Haig Industries Limited, Ready Luck Limited, Discovery Star Development Limited, Kingmaker (Vietnam) Footwear Co., Ltd, Lightening Star Corporation, Maystar Footwear Company Limited, Miri Footwear International Inc and Miri International Limited.

History

Kingmaker Footwear Holdings Limited began in 1980 as a two line operation near Taichung, Taiwan. Founded by Mr. Mickey Chen, the company originally specialized in footwear for the U.S. discount market.

In 1988, Kingmaker opened a new manufacturing site in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China and an office in Hong Kong. An additional production facility was established in Macau in 1992.

By the time Kingmaker went public in 1994 and formally became the Kingmaker Group, the company was principally producing branded footwear product on eight production lines for North American trading companies.

In the year 2000, Kingmaker closed its Macau factory after opening a new factory located beside Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. This factory operation has grown from two to nine production lines over the past few years. Another Kingmaker factory was opened in 2002 in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. This factory has nine assembly lines as well as a complete, advance-equipped sample center facility.

Presently, the Kingmaker Group operates with a capacity of 37 assembly lines - 12 in Vietnam, 9 in Zhongshan and 16 in Zhuhai, and serves consumer markets throughout North America, Europe, and the Far East. The majority of the Kingmaker Group's 12,000+ employees work in the production facilities.

Kingmaker Group offers 23 years of experience in the footwear industry making rugged-casual, dress-casual, work, ath-leisure, and sports footwear. Kingmaker has specialized in producing rugged all-terrain footwear, including hiking shoes, boots, steel-toe shoes and waterproof footwear.

Handsewing and moccasin constructions have been another Kingmaker specialty since the mid-1990's. Today, in addition to men's and women's urban casual styles, Kingmaker is especially well known for quality infant and children's footwear.
