It headquarters in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, Up to now, there are 13 branch company which are engaged in seed business, 4 cotton subsidiaries, 1 seed R&D center and 4 enterprises engaged in other agricultural business , totally 22 sub-companies and branch companies under Dunhuang Seed, which were established in  Gansu ,Henan, Hebei, Hubei province etc. The registered capital of Dunhuang Seed is RMB 180 million, total asset reaches to RMB 1.43 billion and net asset is RMB 693 million.
It has issued 75,000,000 shares of RMB common stock on Dec. 29th, 2003 in Shanghai Stock Exchange and became a listed company since then.

It produces and markets maize seed, wheat seed , cotton seed, and seed potato in a big quantity and in a wide area in Northern part of China, meanwhile the company also produces and markets seed of melon, vegetable, flower and forage grass. Cotton products include lint, cottonseed and linters. Other products are spraying tomato powder etc.

It is also approved as one of the Top 50 in Chinese Seed Industry, meanwhile, it was awarded as High-tech Enterprise in Gansu, and it is the enterprise which abide contract and has high credit level awarded by the State Administration for Industry & Commerce, it is also the first public company in Gansu seed industry [Stock Code:600354], it has obtained the Certificate of ISO9001—2000.
