Hang Zhou Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the production and sale of iron, steel and related rolled products, as well as coke and its byproducts. The Company's major products include steel bars, wire rods, band steel products and profile steel products. The Company is also involved in the development, consulting services and training of metallurgy and coking technologies. The Company is also engaged in construction engineering, as well as the manufacturing, installation, inspection and repairing of hoisting machinery and pressure piping special equipment. The Company distributes its products in domestic markets, with eastern China as its major market. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had five major subsidiaries and affiliates, engaged in the manufacture of steel rod and wire, as well as water and power supplying business.
