Hong Kong Construction (Holdings) Ltd. said it had secured a 1.6 billion yuan (US$201.3 million) wind power project in China's northeastern province of Hebei.

The construction group said in a statement the project would be undertaken by a joint venture, which is 40 percent-owned by the group and 60 percent by China Energy Conservation Investment Corp.

The Hong Kong-listed company said it would fund the investment.

The project will involve the construction of a windfarm with capacity of 200 megawatt at Danjinghe in Hebei province.
