
THAILAND'S Charoen Pokphand Group plans to triple motorcycle output at its plants in China over the next four years to meet rising domestic and overseas demand.
C.P. Group plans to produce about three million motorcycles in China in 2010, from 1.1 million last year, Vice Chairman Thanakorn Seriburi said in Bangkok yesterday. The group, which has motorcycle plants in Luoyang and Guangzhou, is in talks to buy more factories, to boost annual production capacity in China from 2.5 million motorcycles a year, he said.
