Sina (NASDAQ: SINA), Tencent (0700.HK) and NetEase (NASDAQ: NTES) will establish an Olympics reporting alliance to compete with Sohu (NASDAQ: SOHU), according to a rumor reported by DoNews. Tencent and NetEase's public relations departments denied such an alliance. Sohu CEO Charles Zhang commented that the alliance cannot compete with Sohu due to lack of resources, reports techweb.com.cn. Sohu is the exclusive Internet content sponsor of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
