Top European auto maker Volkswagen AG said on Thursday it sold 30.2 percent more vehicles in Chinese mainland and Hong Kong in the first three quarters of the year than a year earlier.
The maker of Volkswagen and Audi brand cars moved 684,786 units during the period, compared with 525,941 units the year before, the company said in a statement.
The Volkswagen group in China aims to sell 900,000 vehicles for the full year, it said.
