Volkswagen's car venture in north China is recalling 4,076 imported Audi sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in the country to fix a software-related problem.
The Q7 SUVs were made between June 2006 and July 2007, the Audi division of the venture, FAW Volkswagen, said in a statement seen on Friday.
No accidents or personal injuries have been linked to the defect in the software that controls the car boot, said FAW Volkswagen, a tie-up between the European automaker and China's FAW Group.
