HC International Records RMB45.5M Loss - ResearchInChina

Chinese business-to-business portal and e-commerce company HC International (8292.HK) released full year results for 2007 on Friday. The company generated turnover of RMB279.26 million, down 4.1 percent year-on-year, and a loss of RMB45.51 million, compared to a loss of RMB121.51 million in 2006, in the twelve month period. Daily page visits on the company's web portal hc360.com have reached approximately 32 million. In October of last year, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Hong Kong Huicong International Group Limited acquired a 19 percent stake in Madeinchina, Inc.

HC International announced the same day that its CEO Guo Fansheng and chairman Li Jianguang have resigned from their former positions effective March 31. Li will stay on as a non-executive director, while Guo will remain an executive director and take over as chairman on the last day of the first quarter. Existing executive director Guo Jiang will take over as CEO.
