XUZHOU Construction Machinery Group, China's biggest maker of building equipment, will consider other bids for its Xugong unit if the government rejects a 1.8 billion yuan (US$256 million) offer by US buyout firm Carlyle Group, said Xu Xiaohui, Communist Party secretary at one of Xugong's factories.
