Baidu Inc is in talks with mobile-phone makers about using its search box on handsets sold in China, the Wall Street Journal quoted Robin Li, the company's chief executive officer, as saying.

Baidu is also considering listing shares in China, the newspaper quoted Li as saying, without providing a timeline.
