Over 381000 vehicles exported since start of year - ResearchInChina

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai July 12) - Over 381,000 vehicles have been exported since the beginning of the year, the Beijing News quoted the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers as reporting. The figure represents a 56.99 percent increase for vehicle exports from the first half of 2010. Exports reached their highest in May and June, with June exports alone exceeding 80,000 vehicles.

"The recovery of the global economy is of great benefit to our country's automobile exports," CAAM Assistant Secretary General Zhu Yiping said. 

National vehicle imports and exports combined totalled about $53.54 billion, 29.47 percent higher than the amount from last year. Exports from that time period brought in about $2.49 billion.
