July 29 -- Fujian SBS Zipper Science and Technology (002098), a maker of zippers, posted a 98.38 percent year-on-year increase in net profit to 42.92 million yuan in the first half of 2011, with earnings per share of 0.277 yuan, up 97.86 percent, reports 163.com, citing a company filing.

Sales revenue in the same period was 543 million yuan.

The company attributed the increase in net profit to the increased sales of products with higher gross margins.
