Lite-On IT lands SSD orders from Toshiba, says paper

Lite-On IT started volume production of SSDs in the first quarter of 2011 and has obtained ODM orders for several hundred thousand units from Toshiba and begun shipments, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.

Lite-On IT landed the orders through Philips & Lite-On Digital Solutions, its joint venture with Royal Philips Electronics, the paper indicated.
