Prices of new commercial housing dropped in 34 of the 70 major cities monitored by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in October.

In October, sales shrank on a year-on-year basis in 2 cities -- Wenzhou and Ningbo.

New home prices in 20 cities stayed flat last month from September, and the growth rates of home prices in the other cities were all below 0.2%.
