Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said that it has revised or affirmed its ratings on 34 of Asia Pacific's financial institutions in compliance with new ratings criteria for banks published on 9 November 2011.

Bank of Communications' (SHA:601328, HHKG:3328) Greater China credit scale ratings has been revised from "cnA+" to "cnAA" and its global scale ratings from "BBB+" to "A-".

China Merchants Bank's (600036.SH 03968.HK) global scale ratings have been revised from "BBB" to "BBB+".
