his July, Chery saw the export volume of passenger vehicles reaching 9,190 units, an 8.3% jump year on year, taking the lead in automobile industry in China again and accounting for 26.4% of the total export of Chinese-brand passenger vehicles, according to the latest statistics issued by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
From January to July, Chery exported 59,655 units in total, taking up 26.6% of the total export of Chinese-brand passenger vehicles during that period, and ranking the first in auto export in China.

Given a slowing-down growth in global auto industry, while maintaining overseas sales, Cherry has also been adjusting the structure of its vehicles. After the strategic transformation, Tiggo 5 and Arrizo 7 have been successively launched in overseas market. The structure of the vehicles has been optimized, the power of the products has been improved, and a good fame has been gained in the years of doing business there. Thus Chery enjoys much upside potential in selling prices, some of which have already been climbing in some markets.

One official in Chery revealed that as one of the fasted-growing auto brands in Russia, Chery has sold over 180,000 units since it took root in Russia.

Apart from the Chinese mainland, Chery has established 14 KD manufacturing bases and 3 R & D institutes, with its sales network covering over 80 countries and regions.
