CHINA, the world's second-biggest corn producer, may harvest a record 154 million tons of the grain this year as yields rise, a state-owned market forecaster said.

Output may rise by 2.17 million tons, or 1.4 percent from last year, the China National Grain and Oils Information Center said in an e-mailed monthly report yesterday.
