SHANGHAI Volkswagen Co Ltd has launched a revamped Touran multi-purpose vehicle to increase competitiveness and grab a bigger market share.

New Touran, Volkswagen's first compact MPV, is developed on the German car maker's most advanced platform for mid-class sedans.

Touran has a new-look body with a focus on the youth market. New Touran, powered by a 1.8 Turbo engine or a 2.0-liter engine, is priced between 169,800 yuan to 221,800 yuan in China.
