August 3 -- Dongxu Group became the effective controller of Shijiazhuang Baoshi Electronic Glass Company (000413), reports the National Business Daily, citing a company filing.

Dongxu Group previously held a 47.06-percent stake in Baoshi Group, parent company of Baoshi Electronic Glass. Since it recently acquired another 22.94-percent stake in Baoshi Group, its holdings in the company reached 70 percent.

Dongxu Group was founded in 2004 and currently has 386 million yuan in registered capital. It develops software and manufactures electronic products.

Dongxu Group recently signed several large contracts including one to produce two million lamps, a solar cell production project, and two panel glass projects with Wuhu Economic and Technology Development Zone and Sichuan Changhong Electric (600839).

Shijiazhuang Baoshi Electronic Glass was founded in 1992 and is engaged in electro-vacuum glass devices and supporting electronic components, exports of self-made products and imports of mechanical equipment, parts and components, and raw and auxiliary materials.
