August 15 -- Xinjiang Tianshan Wool Tex Stock (000813), a maker of cashmere sweaters, woolen sweaters and cashmere yarn, reported a loss of 4.18 million yuan in the first half of 2011, with loss per share of 0.012 yuan, reports p5w.net, citing a company filing.

Sales revenue in the same period hit 140 million yuan, up 13.99 percent year-on-year.

The company attributed the loss to the higher price of raw materials, an increase in financial expenses and lower gross margins.
