September 13 -- Jiangxi Black Cat Carbon Black (002068.SZ), a producer of carbon black and loading agents, reported that its subsidiary acquired a plot of land in Tangshan, Heibei province, reports New Express Daily, citing a company filing.

The plot of land covers an area of 343.96 mu (one mu = 666.67 square meters).

According to the company, the acquisition will speed up its plan for a carbon soot production facility with annual capacity of 200,000 tons.

Black Cat Carbon obtained a subsidy of 20.67 million yuan from the local government for land development.

The subsidy will be deferred and will not have a significant impact on the company's 2011 performance.
