November 9 -- Chongqing Iron and Steel (601005.SH) produced 407,900 tons of steel in October, an increase of 22.02 percent year-on-year, reports yicai.com, citing a company filing.

For the first 10 months, the steelmaker produced 4.55 million tons of steel, compared to the 3.03 million tons recorded in the same period of 2010.
