November 22 -- CITIC Offshore Helicopter (000099.SZ) plans to purchase seven EC 225LP helicopters for a total of 143 million euros in order to expand its business and better meet demand for long-distance helicopter transport services, reports yicai.com, citing a company fling.

The helicopters will be delivered in stages over the next three to four years.

Excluding various taxes, the helicopters will cost the company a total of about 1.24 billion yuan.

CITIC Helicopter will use internally generated capital to fund the purchase.

The purchase is pending the approval of the related authorities.
