As the Women’s Day is drawing near, Wal-Mart announced that it will donate around 2.2 million yuan (about 350,000 dollars) to set up a sustainable development program in agriculture with Business for Social Responsibility. Upon invitation from the retailer, experts in sustainable agriculture and agricultural suppliers talked with farmers face-to-face and gave them relative trainings on cultivation of plants and management on water, soil, pesticide and fertilizer.
