From the news on 23th, Oct, GAC group signed agreement with Chery in Wuhu, Anhui, sharing mini auto platform, which may be used for new energy auto. Relevant principal for public relations department of GAC group said " The agreement means consensus between GAC and Chery in cooperative R&D, but this platform is still in progress and needs more development. " Also this principal said, GAC research institute has put most advanced technique into this platform and Chery is taking its advantages in mini auto. According the reports from GAC and Chery, although these 2 groups develop this platform cooperatively and will have more cooperation in other areas, the model of this platform is still uncertain. But related person from GAC said this platform may be used for new energy auto. It is widely believed that developing new energy auto in mini auto platform. It is reported that GAC and Chery will sign other agreements of power assembly and export soon.
