Recently, Chang’an Suzuki has released a 2-year plan including a new model at least in one year and joint venture brand and product. The vice president of Chang’an Suzuki said, “Chinese market is most import and largest market for Suzuki. We plan to bring in other new models in next 2 years.”For capacity, he adds the number will reach 500,000 after 2nd factory of Chang’an Suzuki is completed and will be 700,000 after extension. 1 million is the target for the future.

Avoiding of over capacity, the products of joint venture are put into Chang’an Suzuki’s schedule. The vice president, Mr. Sun, said, “The brand of joint venture will be new brand developed by Chang’an Suzuki itself and this is the requirement of Chang’an Suzuki’s development and national auto industry policy.”
