China CSSC Holdings Limited is a company primarily engaged in ship industry. The Company operates its businesses through shipbuilding, which offers bulk cargo ships, oil tankers, semi-submersible drilling platforms and floating production storage and offloading (FPSO); ship maintenance, which includes ship modification, steel hull engineering, maintenance of hull mechanical and electrical appliances, and hull painting services, among others, as well as ship equipment, which provides marine diesel engines. The Company also involves in marine engineering, wind tower projects and the manufacture of hoist machinery. The Company operates its businesses in domestic and overseas markets, such as Europe, the Americas and other Asian markets. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had three wholly owned subsidiaries and two affiliates, which involved in ship building and maintenance, as well as manufacture and distribution of marine diesel engines.
