A.P. Moeller-Maersk A/S, the world's biggest shipping company, will add a route between China and Spain to meet customer demand.
Maersk Line will use seven ships, each with a capacity of 4,000 twenty-foot containers, on the route, which will open on May 28, the Copenhagen-based company said yesterday in an email. Ships on the route, to be called AE11, will stop at the Chinese ports of Shanghai, Dalian, Hong Kong, Qingdao, Xiamen and Xingang, and the Spanish ports of Algeciras and Malaga, Bloomberg News reported.
