THE 2nd Shanghai International Aerospace Technology and Equipment Exhibition will take place from July 5 to 7 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, organizers said yesterday.

The main highlight of the exhibition is a live outdoor demonstration of an unmanned helicopter designed by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The helicopter can be used in crisis and traffic management or police work. Members of the public, who can gain free entrance to the fair, can also expect to see a China-made ARJ21 plane and a high-tech unmanned plane designed by Northwestern Polytechnic University.
