Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei announced on June 21 that it recorded US$2 billion in contract sales in the Asia Pacific region in 2006, an increase of 55 percent year-on-year, reports Sina. Huawei estimates it will generate US$2.4 billion in contracts sales in the Asia Pacific region in 2007.
