PROLOGIS, the world's largest publicly traded industrial developer, will spend US$40 million to build logistics facilities in Dalian because of rising trade in the north of China.
The company will also form a warehouse venture with a Dalian Port Corp logistics unit in nearby Shenyang, it said in a statement, according to Bloomberg News. Logistics companies have opened more facilities in northern China as government investment incentives boost trade and cargo movements in the region.
