Cheung Kong Sells Stake in China Southern Airlines - ResearchInChina

Cheung Kong (Holdings) Ltd, a conglomerate controlled by Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-shing, has sold shares in Hong Kong-listed China Southern Airlines Co Ltd, effectively reducing its stake in the airline company to 0.85 pct from 7.41 pct.

The conglomerate sold 77 mln Southern Airlines H-shares at 8.67 hkd apiece on Nov 30, the company said in a filing with the stock exchange.

The share sale raised about 667.59 mln hkd for Cheung Kong.

On Monday, Cheung Kong closed at 150.10 hkd; China Southern Airlines closed at 9.580 hkd.
