SHANGHAI Airlines will launch a passenger route from the city to Chongqing and Bangkok from January 22 to expand its network.

The airline will use the Boeing 737-800 on three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

The carrier now flies weekly between Chongqing and Bangkok.
