Shanghai International Airport (stock code: 600009) revenue in 2007 grew six percent over 2006 to RMB3.14 billion, according a company filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The airport's net profit increased 11 percent year-on-year to RMB1.94 billion. Shanghai International Airport attributed the increase to the booming demand for air transportation and forecasts further growth in 2008. Shares of Shanghai International Airport rose 4.68 percent to close at RMB24.6.
