SK Telecom Co, South Korea's leading mobile company, said yesterday it has purchased a 30-percent stake in a Chinese online game firm to mark its entry into China's rapidly growing gaming industry.

The company signed an agreement with Shanghai Magicgrids Networks to buy the company's shares for US$7.8 million.
