July 29 -- Surekam Corporation (002373), an information technology company listed on the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) board in 2010, predicts that it incurred a loss of 26.84 million yuan in the first half of 2011, reports yicai.com, citing a company filing.

Revenue was estimated to have declined 0.17 percent year-on-year to 255 million in the first half of 2011.

Surekam’s 2009 and 2010 net profits were 45.88 million yuan and 23.43 million yuan, respectively, while it incurred a loss of 18 million yuan from the first quarter 0f 2011.

The Beijing-based software maker blamed the profit slump on rising labor costs and sales expenses.
