Hunan Nonferrous Metals (HKG:2626) announced that its A-share subsidiary, Zhuzhou Smelter Group Co., Ltd., expects a loss for the year ended 31 December 2011.

Net loss attributable to the owners of Zhuzhou Smelter for the year ended 31 December 2011 is expected to be RMB590 million. For the corresponding period of 2010, net profit attributable to the owners of the company was RMB17.509 million and basic earnings per share was RMB0.03.
