Cinda International Holdings (HKG:0111) announced that it expects a loss for the year ended 31 December 2011, as compared to a profit for the year of 2010. The board attributes such losses to the adverse impact by the recent downturn in global financial markets.

The recent adverse financial and economic conditions in global financial markets have negative impact on the group's principal activities. In addition, the board expected reduction in share of profits and taking-up of losses of associates amid the volatile financial markets.

The company expects to announce its audited consolidated financial results for 2011 next month.
