   Date:2012-05-11

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 11) - Great Wall Motors, China's most profitable own brand manufacturer last year, announced that Deputy General Managers Jia Yaquan and Cui Zhiyu have left the manufacturer on Wednesday due to personal reasons, Gasgoo.com (Chinese) reported today. The manufacturer's board of directors unanimously accepted their letters of resignation. Mr. Jia and Mr. Cui will not return to Great Wall.

According to sources from within Great Wall, the resignations are a part of its recent restructuring program, as the manufacturer shifts its focus from sales to customer satisfaction. Mr. Jia's (pictured above) position may be assumed by Kang Guowang, deputy head of the Great Wall Motor Technology and Research Institute. It is still unclear who the potential candidates are for Mr. Cui's (pictured below) position, which focused primarily on strategic planning for the manufacturer.

Mr. Jia joined Great Wall in 1996, assuming the roles of account executive, marketing director and deputy general manager. During his time at Great Wall, the manufacturer expanded its sales network to cover several new regions in China.
